The bar chart illustrates about global sales of games software, CD’s and DVD or video also how sales has change between the years from 2000 to 2003 in billions dollars.

According to the chart there were upward trends in 3 years. The games software increased slightly in 2000 to 2002 and the sales is steadly until 2003. As we can see the DVD/video seen go up significantly from about 18$ in 2000 to 31$ in 2003. However ,while the number of sales from games software and DVD/video grown up gradually, the selling of CD’s is look decreased slowly over the year and stable until the next year in 2003.

In overall result, the highest sale is still a CD from the graph  and it  prove that many people prefer a CD rather than a game software that at the very bottom of the graph. the DVD sales is speciffically go up. although the rate of sales are narrow between CD and DVD  and if these trends continue, we can expect DVD sales to overtake CD’ sales in 2004 or soon after.
